The terms that apply when you order equipment from CaterPlug.
CaterPlug sells to businesses. These terms apply to every quote and order unless we agree something different in writing.
Quotes are valid for 30 days. Prices can change if the manufacturer changes its price before your order is confirmed. Each quote states clearly what is included: equipment, delivery, and installation if requested.
Your order is confirmed once we receive full payment. We then place the order with the manufacturer or distributor.
Equipment is delivered direct from the manufacturer or distributor to your site. See our Delivery page for details.
Please check equipment when it arrives and note any visible damage on the delivery note. Tell us about any damage or missing items within 48 hours so we can raise it with the carrier.
Equipment comes with the manufacturer's warranty. If something goes wrong, contact support@caterplug.co.uk and we will help arrange the warranty repair. Warranty usually depends on the equipment being installed by a qualified engineer and used as the manufacturer intends.
Most equipment is ordered specially for you. If you cancel after we have placed the order, the manufacturer's cancellation or restocking charges may apply. We will tell you what these are before you decide.
Installation and commissioning are quoted separately and carried out by qualified engineers, including Gas Safe registered engineers for gas equipment. Your site must have the right gas, electrical, water and extraction connections in place unless the quote includes them.
We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or business interruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
